Everything about EndRock

EndRock is a Minecraft Java Edition network with an End-themed hub and a Towny survival world — with more game modes on the way.

What is EndRock?

EndRock is a community Minecraft network built around the End dimension: obsidian, End Stone, Endermen and glowing portal energy. You arrive in the EndRock hub — a floating End island — and pick where to play with the Game Selector compass.

Our first game mode is Towny, a long-term survival world where you build towns and nations with friends. BedWars and Duels are planned next.

EndRock is free to play. A store is planned, but it will only ever sell cosmetics — nothing that gives a gameplay advantage.

How to join

  1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition on version 26.1.2.
  2. Click Multiplayer, then Add Server.
  3. Type play.endrock.org as the server address and click Done.
  4. Select EndRock and click Join Server. In the hub, right-click the Game Selector compass to choose a server.

EndRock is in private testing. Only whitelisted players can join right now — the public launch is coming soon.

Bedrock Edition (consoles, phones, Windows Bedrock) can't join at the moment.

Towny

Build. Claim. Expand.

A whole Earth to settle

Towny on EndRock is played on a large map of the Earth (about 1:1500 scale). Walk off the east edge of the world and you come back on the west side, just like a globe.

Found a town with friends, claim land to protect your builds, grow your town into a nation and trade with other players.

  • An in-game economy for towns, plots and trading
  • A random starting location on your first join
  • Homes and teleport requests between friends
  • A live web map of towns and nations — open the Towny Map (opens in a new tab) or type /map in game
  • Block logging, so staff can investigate and undo griefing

Towny is still being tested, so settings like prices and limits may change before launch.

Getting started

  1. Join EndRock and pick Towny in the Game Selector.
  2. Explore, gather resources and find a spot you like.
  3. Start a town with /town new <name> or join a friend's town.

FAQ

Is EndRock free to play?

Yes. EndRock is free to join. A store is planned, but it will only sell cosmetics — nothing that gives a gameplay advantage.

Which Minecraft version do I need?

Minecraft: Java Edition 26.1.2.

Can I join from Bedrock Edition (console or phone)?

Not at the moment. EndRock is a Java Edition server.

Can I use mods or other clients?

Performance and cosmetic client mods are generally fine. Anything that gives you an unfair advantage — x-ray, fly, kill aura, auto-clickers and similar — is not allowed. See the Rules.

Why can't I connect?

Check that you typed play.endrock.org, that you are on Java Edition 26.1.2, and look at the server status at the bottom of this page.

During private testing, only whitelisted players can join.

Is there a Discord server?
